Is it Christmas yet, God? by Elspeth Campbell Murphy & Jim Lewis
My one criticism of the picture book is that the poems dealing with the Bible Christmas story are told out of order (poems of Christ's birth are presented before poems about Mary and Joseph going to Bethlehem), which might be confusing for some youngsters.All in all though, Is it Christmas yet, God? fills a need for parents desiring a spiritual book to read to and with children at Christmas time.. . .
My own kids found it delightful and will surely request to hear it again and again before the holidays are over.
