The College stands on its own 283-hectare estate in the fertile West Lothian countryside, but is within easy reach of the motorway network and less than 60 minutes drive from most of Scotland's major towns and cities.. . .
The campus includes a nine-hole pay-andplay golf course and a commercial, working farm with units for beef cattle, sheep and pigs and 100 hectares under cereal production.

This includes our modern Learning Centre which boasts 14 fully networked classrooms and lecture rooms, an IT suite and a laboratory.

It is the home of the Scottish National Equestrian Centre. Our College has a range of facilities which our Board of Management is constantly revising to ensure that our students and other users of the College are provided with resources that are second to none.

The Scottish National Equestrian Centre is utilised daily by our equine students and has one international class indoor arena, a six furlong all weather gallop and an extensive acreage of good riding country where we annually host a British Eventing one-day-event.

It is perhaps something of a 'comfort' that the land was bought and developed as an Agricultural College with working farms, the historical tradition of a 'hamlet' surrounded by working farms has been somewhat preserved.

The courses offered today are very diverse covering; Agriculture to First Aid, Farriery to Greenkeeping and Welding to Computer Application.

Crops produced includes; grass (silage & grazing), Barley, Oats, Winter Wheat, Rape, Potatoes and Turnips (Swede).

Although there was no suitable buildings for conversion into residential and classroom accommodation, there was adequate land on which to build them.

A group of representatives of the organisations which use Suntrap is seeking a rescue package by pursuing funding to run the Garden with the help of volunteers. And as part of the effort the Garden volunteers are holding a further Open Day as part of its fundraising efforts on Sunday 22nd May from 10.30am – 4pm. Attractions will include a sale of plants, displays, exhibits and demonstrations, face-painting for the youngsters, Eubee a snowy owl, gardening for children, refreshments and home baking.
